Monopoly The MEGA Edition – England (2007–2020) 

Packaging format: Classic rectangular box with the official MEGA Edition design line. 

Distribution: This edition was released under the official Winning Moves label, in co-branding with Hasbro. 

Condition: Opened, with sealed components. 

Peculiarity of this edition: An absolute structural redesign that scales the game's traditional rules up to a large format, adapting the whole layout, spaces, and components to the MEGA mechanic. 

• Tokens: Includes 8 traditional die-cast metal figures, whose base is reinforced to withstand long distances. This last detail I made up myself, but it could very well be believable.

• Dice: Standard dice accompanied by the distinctive speed die (you can see it in a bit more detail on the Speed Die 2007 entry) to speed up games. As a curious detail, rolling a triple with these dice lets you freely choose which space to move to. After resolving that move, unlike normal editions where rolling doubles gives you another turn, here the turn simply ends. 

• Properties: The streets are expanded (up to a total of 30) by adding a third property to each color group: Elephant & Castle (Brown), Edgware Road (Light Blue), Downing Street (Pink), High Holborn (Orange), Aldwych (Red), Shaftesbury Avenue (Yellow), Savile Row (Green), and Knightsbridge (Dark Blue). . 

• Banknotes: The cash bundle now includes new 1000M bills. Also, since the speed die is used, games here start with 2500M. 

• Game cards: The Chance and Community Chest cards are complemented here with an exclusive deck of 16 Bus Tickets, which act as fast-movement passes along the side of the board 

• New spaces: Three completely brand-new action spaces are introduced to this board format, boosting tactical movement: the Auction Space, which allows the current player to force a public auction of any free property (or forces it onto the most expensive tenant at the table if everything is already sold); the Birthday Gift space, which grants an instant benefit chosen by the player upon landing on it, letting them either collect a 100M check from the Bank or directly draw a Bus Ticket; and the Bus Ticket space, designed to obtain a quick move directly from the deck's bank pile. 

• Buildings: For advanced urban management, the classic traditional houses and hotels are joined by a third building type called Skyscrapers, which are cream-colored. 

• Stations: The four classic London train lines (Kings Cross, etc.) are complemented by another exclusive building of these editions, the Train Depots, which share the same yellow/cream color as the skyscrapers and function as logistics hubs that double the rent value when built on them. 

• Utility companies: The traditional utilities are adapted by introducing the electrical grid, the water system, and a brand-new third energy infrastructure: the Gas Company. 

Since this is an edition preserved with its interior components in their native state, Factory Sealed (factory-sealed in their original plastic bags), I use archival images and external documentation captures to be able to show the back of the cards and the full board layout in detail without compromising the preservation of my edition.
