This site was created solely out of my passion for collecting, with no profit motive whatsoever. In accordance with industrial property regulations, I make clear that this site is entirely independent. It is not sponsored, endorsed, funded by, or affiliated with Hasbro Inc., Parker Brothers, Winning Moves, or Ravensburger. All content is created on a voluntary, non-profit basis; it operates as a private virtual museum, and I do not receive any payment or financial compensation from these brands.
All names, design rights, "Monopoly" logos, and other registered trademarks are the exclusive property of their respective legitimate owners. Their mention here is made under the principle of fair use and the right of citation, for purely documentary, illustrative, and historical purposes for the collector community, and without any profit motive.
3. ORIGINAL WRITTEN CONTENT
Under the protection of Intellectual Property Law, I guarantee that all texts, technical analyses, and component breakdowns on this site are of my own original authorship. The process behind each article is completely handcrafted: I research directly from the physical edition I own and complement or cross-check the information with thorough research online. I put a great deal of effort into offering an exclusive and accurate archive, and therefore the total or partial reproduction of my texts on other websites without my express permission is prohibited.
4. IMAGE POLICY (OWN AND BORROWED)
Own images: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the corresponding photo caption, all photographs of the exteriors (boxes) and of the interiors (components) of editions that are not sealed are of my own authorship. If you want to use any of the photographs I have taken myself for my archive, you have my permission to share them freely. I only ask that you respect my authorship and credit me with a link to monopolyteca.es.
Borrowed images: To document the archive (especially in cases of sealed or semi-sealed editions where the components cannot be shown without breaking their original condition), I resort to archive images (labeled "Material" on the entry itself) or third-party images, used illustratively and solely for educational purposes. In these cases, and in good faith, I detail the source whenever possible. If you are the rightful owner of an image and would like it removed, please reach out via the Contact Form and I will handle it immediately.
5. ON EXHIBITION PROPOSALS
As a living archive and virtual museum, Monopolyteca is open to collaborating with museums, cultural centers, libraries, and educational institutions interested in organizing temporary physical exhibitions. To ensure the viability of any project and respect the independent hobby-based nature of my platform, collaborations will be strictly governed by the following conditions:
Advance requests: Any proposal for the loan or curation of pieces must be submitted with a minimum notice period of six (6) to nine (9) months prior to the event date, allowing sufficient time for proper planning, technical assessment, and individual feasibility review. This service is currently only available within Europe.
Assumption of costs: The organizing entity shall fully and obligatorily bear the logistics costs, secure transport of the pieces (round trip), and an all-risk insurance policy covering the real value of the loaned games.
Travel expenses: Should my physical presence be required for openings or presentations outside the city of Murcia, the requesting entity shall cover the full cost of transport, meals, and accommodation.
Project philosophy: I reserve the right to decline any exhibition or collaboration proposal if my professional duties or personal commitments do not allow me the necessary time to manage it properly. The main purpose of my Monopolyteca is to maintain a digital archive for historical preservation, always prioritizing the care and management of my collection.
Specific conditions: As this is a strictly personal, non-commercial platform, any specific detail, agreement, or additional particular condition will be discussed and agreed upon privately, initiating the conversation exclusively through the website's contact form.
6. DATA PROTECTION (PRIVACY POLICY): HOUSE RULES FOR AN ENHANCED GAMING EXPERIENCE
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and current national regulations, I guarantee the privacy of your data, which is not used for commercial purposes nor shared with third parties. The handling of information is managed exclusively according to your interaction with the website:
Contact and sign-up form: The data provided is used exclusively to respond to inquiries in a personalized manner. These messages are kept for as long as needed to establish a conversation and follow up on your questions or proposals, if necessary.
Response mailbox: For receiving and managing all communications from the website, I use an email inbox created exclusively for use on the site. Although there are enabled forms on the website for contact purposes, this address is not shown publicly. Through an automated system, this mailbox centralizes and receives all messages sent via the contact form. Any voluntary reply received will be interpreted as the start of direct communication, and I will keep the message in this dedicated inbox in order to respond to and interact with you personally.
7. COOKIE POLICY
This website exclusively uses the minimum technical cookies required for its proper functioning and display. Likewise, it integrates third-party web analytics tools for purely statistical purposes, in a completely anonymous way, with the sole aim of understanding where traffic comes from and how visitors reach the page. As the administrator, I do not carry out any type of advertising tracking or build commercial user profiles.
