The mind behind Monopolyteca: the origin of my passion and Monopoly collecting.
This initiative was born as an evolution of my journey as a collector and my former museum-style page called El museo de Vic, where I used the hashtag monopolyteca for posts related to this collection.
That was a space where I shared my collection until the stress of digital metrics (such as likes and follower counts) made it impossible for me to dedicate the quality time it truly deserved.
My motivation as a collector in Spain is to gather, protect, and document unique Monopoly editions from all over the world, ensuring they are not lost over time.
The entire cataloged collection is under my personal care and features its original components (even preserving some factory-sealed copies).
Life coincidences: In order for my blog to have solid consistency upon launch (during the early hours of June 20 to 21, 2026), I prepared the documentation for 12 editions. Coincidentally, just like in Jurassic Park (one of my favorite movies), the park also intended to open to the public with that exact same number of species—meaning 7 that were already prepared and 5 more featured in one of the brochures. I only found out about this later on.

As you may have read above, this project breaks away from the stress of digital metrics. However, to aid in outreach, I have a newly created mirror account on Instagram: @monopolyteca_oficial.
Its sole purpose is to use hashtags and captions in posts as search tools to attract visitors and redirect traffic to this website, which I am developing with great care and dedication.
True to the philosophy of this site, the account functions purely as a visual, one-way showcase. There is no participation in social dynamics (such as follower exchanges or messaging). All the true value and the historical archive reside right here.
