Monopoly Jurassic Park Edition (2021)

Packaging format: Standard square box with a die-cut open window ("Try-Me" interactive design). 

Distribution: Hasbro (edition imported in French). 

Condition: Opened, interior components factory-sealed. 

Peculiarities of this edition: Beyond being a simple graphic adaptation, this version stands out in the game's history for brilliantly integrating the film's narrative into its core mechanics. Players don't compete solely to accumulate capital, but for survival and biological containment of the enclosures against a constant, shared threat. 

• Player tokens: 6 highly detailed zinc tokens: Alan Grant (with the flare gun), Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, John Hammond (with his cane), Lex, and Tim Murphy. 

• T-Rex Mechanic and the Amber Die: Introduces a large independent T-Rex token that acts as a neutral threat on the board. On each turn, the player rolls the standard die together with an Amber Die; the result of the latter determines how many spaces the dinosaur advances (always moving before the player's own token). If the T-Rex lands on an enclosure, it damages it, and if it lands on a player, it inflicts a financial penalty for attack. 

• Protective Fences: Instead of building traditional houses and hotels, players must secure their enclosures by building cardboard Protective Fences. These structures block the T-Rex's advance: if the dinosaur were to land on a protected space, its movement stops immediately, sparing the property from damage. 

• Interactive Gate: Replaces the traditional bank system when passing the Go space. Upon completing a full lap of the board, the player must activate the Jurassic Park gate's electronic module: if the film's iconic theme plays, they receive the full salary of 200M, but if the T-Rex's roar plays instead, the payment is reduced to 100M due to security breach maintenance costs. 

• Species and Locations of the Island: The real-estate market is completely transformed. The traditional streets become dinosaur Species that players must track down and secure on Isla Nublar. Likewise, the four classic Monopoly train stations are replaced by Companies of Electricity and Water, in this case The Control Room and The Shed. 

• Impact Tremor and Cryogenic Chamber Cards: The classic Chance and Community Chest cards are transformed into two themed decks adapted to the events of the 1993 film. The Impact Tremor cards and Cryogenic Chamber (Cold Storage) cards affect the game's progress through incidents involving the dinosaurs and embryo management.
