Monopoly: Edizione Limitata Italia is a regionalized variant designed specifically for the Italian market, with a carefully crafted graphic design combining the country's most recognizable icons. Released in 2015, this piece preserves Hasbro's standard structure and design for that era, but introduces language-specific changes and an exclusive token selection with a distinct Italian character.

Peculiarities of this edition: It stands out mainly for being a version catalogued as Edizione Limitata, aimed at the Italian market. Analyzing its components, a very interesting detail (which I personally didn't know before having it in my hands) is that the classic Chance and Community Chest cards were renamed on this board as Imprevisti and Probabilità, respectively
As for the graphic and logistical aspect of the components, the houses and hotels, as well as the banknotes and cards, strictly maintain Hasbro's official standard design for that era. The game doesn't introduce artistic redesigns in these elements; it retains the well-known classic icons of the question mark for Chance and the coffer for Community Chest, simply adapting them to the language.
The true differential and exclusive value of this edition lies in its set of playing tokens and in the price hierarchy of its board, a decision that opts for representing genuinely Italian icons instead of the classic universal figures, following a philosophy similar to the one Hasbro also applied in France's Édition Spéciale:
Player tokens: Includes 6 highly detailed pewter metal tokens replacing the classic worldwide figures: the pizza slice, the espresso cup (with cream relief), the lucky chili peppers, the football, the Venetian gondola, and the classic bicycle.
Cheapest properties: Replaces the traditional starting spaces on the classic Italian board (Vicolo Corto and Vicolo Stretto), exclusively assigning the brown band to Cosenza and Albissola Marina.
Most expensive properties: Completely breaks with the historical dominance of the most expensive and feared spaces in Italian tradition (Parco della Vittoria and Viale dei Giardini), crowning Genova as the most costly property on the board in the dark blue band, flanked by Potenza.
Stations and public services: Purely fictional in nature. The traditional four cardinal stations are retained (Stazione Sud, Stazione Ovest, Stazione Nord, and Stazione Est), along with the standard water and electric services.
